The Great Duck Chase: Rost and Apollo vs. Senpai
In the icy expanses of Frosthaven, amidst the ever-present snow and the biting cold, there was a tale that never failed to bring laughter to those who heard it. It was the tale of Senpai, a duck of legendary wit and agility, who managed to outsmart two of the land’s most determined hunters: Rost and Apollo.
Senpai, or Mafia as she was officially known, had become somewhat of a local legend. Not just for her feathery appearance but for her unparalleled ability to evade capture. Rost and Apollo had made it their mission to catch her, a quest that often turned into a comedic escapade.
Rost, the so-called “drunk old man,” was known for his love of fine ale and even finer jokes. Apollo, on the other hand, was a fierce warrior with a serious demeanor, though he was known to enjoy a good laugh, especially at his own expense.
One crisp morning, the two friends set out on their latest expedition. They trudged through the snow with determination in their steps and traps in their hands. They had come up with an elaborate plan: a series of decoys, nets, and even a makeshift pond to lure Senpai into their clutches.
As the plan unfolded, Rost and Apollo set up their decoys. Rost, in his usual drunken state, managed to place the decoys in the wrong spots. Meanwhile, Apollo meticulously prepared the net trap, only to realize he had set it up backwards. Their well-laid plan was already off to a rocky start.
Senpai, ever the observant duck, watched from a distance with amusement. Her beady eyes glittered with mischief as she saw the hunters fumble with their traps. With a quack of laughter, she waddled over to a nearby frozen lake.
When Rost and Apollo finally noticed Senpai’s presence, they charged towards her with renewed vigor. Senpai, however, was ready. She took off in a flurry of feathers, her wings flapping with effortless grace. Rost and Apollo, in their eagerness, slipped on the icy ground, landing in a heap of tangled limbs and snow.
With each failed attempt, Senpai’s confidence grew. She darted between trees, over frozen streams, and through snowy hills. Rost and Apollo were left panting and slipping, their efforts becoming more desperate and comical with each passing minute.
After hours of chasing, Rost and Apollo were exhausted. They collapsed on a snowy hill, laughing at their own misadventures. Senpai, now perched on a nearby branch, quacked loudly as if mocking their efforts.
Rost looked up at the duck with a rueful grin. “You win this time, Senpai,” he said, wiping snow from his face. “You’re quite the elusive quarry.”
Apollo chuckled, shaking his head. “We’ll never hear the end of this from the others,” he said, his breath misting in the cold air.
Senpai quacked triumphantly and flapped her wings as if in celebration. With a final glance at the defeated hunters, she took off into the sky, disappearing over the horizon.
Back in the warmth of their cabin, Rost and Apollo recounted their failed adventure to their amused friends. The story of the great duck chase quickly became a favorite tale, filled with exaggerated details and hearty laughter.
Senpai, the duck who had outwitted two of Frosthaven’s finest hunters, became a symbol of elusive cunning and humorous failure. And though Rost and Apollo never did manage to catch her, they had gained something even more valuable: a story that would be retold and laughed about for years to come.
As for Senpai, she continued her reign as the most elusive and clever duck in all of Frosthaven, her legend growing with each hilarious encounter.
[Verse 1]
Quack quack I’m a duck
Gonna rise like the sun up
From the pond to the big scene
Only quackin’ to be seen
[Verse 2]
One day I’ll be
The president of Frosthaven
No one better it’s forsaken
I’ll be quack-quacked and shaken
[Chorus]
Quack quack I’m a duck
Quack quack wish me luck
Quack quack hear me cluck
I’m the best duck what a pluck
[Verse 3]
Smarter than Apollo
Faster than the swallows
Rost can’t keep up
Sip that water from a cup
[Verse 4]
Fields of dreams I’m quacking
Other birds I’m outclassing
Keep your clapping and your bracking
To the top I’ll keep clacking
[Chorus]
Quack quack I’m a duck
Quack quack wish me luck
Quack quack hear me cluck
I’m the best duck what a pluck
